So today I had my first aquanatal class. It was... odd. I think I started earlier than most - I'm at week 25 or so, and most people were at week 32-38, I think. It was vastly undignified, though some women managed to keep their hair and makeup dry (how???).
Chlorine is one of the world's great evils, and shea butter is one of its great goods. Also, I am deeply grateful that ante-natal classes of all descriptions are so easy to spot, even without my glasses.
In other news, my original midwife, who met me once 13 weeks ago, remembers me and is going to sort out my whole problem with changing GPs and getting appointments and being given conflicting information. I love and trust her with all my heart. Which reminds me - I was expecting a callback from British Doulas, and I never got it. I wonder what happened? Perhaps I'll call them after lunch.
The loft conversion should take my mind off stocking my nappy bag with exciting baby goodies, shouldn't it?

Admittedly we started with a converted space (It couldn't be called a bedroom as it was open plan from the stairs) It now has a wall either side of the stairs and two door into two separate bedroom, each with its own window. So now our house is officially a 5 bedroom house.
You may want to make sure you are out of the house for some stages as experience shows that it will create a lot of dust (more than you first think!).
I know that you have said that you want to do the ceiling, but i honestly think you should get advice, for your sake not the ceilings. You are small and so it would involve a lot of stretching and the use of unused muscles. Having painted four ceilings in the last 3 months I know this for a fact. I don't think it is the kind of stretching that you should be doing now. I hate it when people say "People in your condition shouldn't...." but i really do think you should ask advice first.
