I'm off

Tomorrow (Thursday) I'm off to sunny Donegal. I'll be back on Wednesday.

Today I managed to get up and get my blood test results and do some laundry and washing up and make Rob breakfast. Now I need to pack for travelling; ticket, passport, money, Irish banking stuff (one day I'll get to a bank and sort out what I do and don't have in my various accounts, including getting my Post Office account updated to Euros), and clothes. Clothes are easy - I will wear my maternity jeans, and pack those tops which are not yet too small.

I have no idea what to do about a jacket; perhaps it's warm enough for just a cardigan and rainjacket. In Donegal. In November.

No, I'll just have to find something that still fits. Perhaps one of Rob's.

I never knew being small-waisted could be a disadvantage, but it certainly seems to make my clothes smaller faster. The books say I should still be mostly wearing my own clothes, at 4 months. But I have no stretch-fit coats!

*rofl* still in your own clothes? Don't make me laugh. I was in maternity gear by the third month... I was showing by 8 weeks! You should have asked me :)

You were offline moving house, I suppose, or you'd have seen the whinging! I certainly wasn't complacent about it! I have been in maternity clothes of a kind since 7-8 weeks; I already owned dungarees and stretchy tops, so I put off buying new clothes as long as possible. I only "show" to people who know how flat my stomach is; people who are used to seeing bulgy tummies don't notice that mine is bulging, unless I'm tired and let myself sag. My mother was round-tummied, too, and didn't need maternity gear until 3 months, in spite of being small.

I had to buy yet more bras today. Grr.
