Finally, I caught up with myself, and perhaps a kick

I believe I have a slight cold; that would explain the dehydration, exhaustion, and being completely congested.

However, there is good news - I suspect there was a kick last night. It was a weird swimmy feeling, somewhere between a bubble bursting and a "butterflies in the stomach" feeling, and I've never had a digestion feeling like it before. I can't be sure, of course, until it happens again.

I did a bit of housework again today; the only thing I haven't done this week is wiped the skirting boards in the dining room and bedrooms, and polished the woodwork in same. Oh, and the kitchen windowsill is a bit grotty. It's nice, though, having a clean house most of the time. Makes me feel oddly confident. I suspect it makes winter easier to bear, too - it was dark by 5 pm today.

Tomorrow, we have a guest. Woohoo!
