To Do list again

Done:

• Chased neighbour about gas smell. The issue appears to be resolved, though we shall have to see...
• Cleaned the whole house except the kitchen and bathroom last Friday.
• I have been swimming at least once a week for ages now and am even beginning to develop some propulsion in the frog-kick. I usually swim with my arms alone.

To do:

• Call someone to repair the two broken gas heaters.
• Call the lovely roofer, if he ever answers his phone, to see about getting a skylight installed and maybe a hanging chimney removed.
• Go 'round the local charity shops looking for baby stuff; I may, if I'm careful, be able to get all the clothes we need there.Note: Primark is cheapest in the first-hand shops available in town. Secondary note: Do I really want to buy baby gear this early? I should wait until the New Year.
• Do another set of those daily exercises, unless I decide that they're never ever going to happen.
• Draw up a budget for all the DIY and paying other people to DI stuff that has to be done, and see how it fits with our household budget.

Could you use a baby afghan? If so, what colors are you decorating the nursery in?

Yes, please, that's a great idea, and we have no idea. I'm not altogether sure of the whole "themed nursery" idea, as I suspect it would need to be rewritten when the child is, oh, about 5. We'll probably go for White Walls And Ceiling, with easily adjustable decorative borders and posters and so on.

Um, assuming you don't mean "afghan hound", of course...

Well, my usual baby afghan is pastels - pink, blue, yellow, and green. I can make it in any combination of colors, though, if you want brighter, or shades of one color, or whatever.

And shipping a dog whould be horribly expensive ;-)
