Sudden Acts of Random Art
Jul. 28th, 2003 01:00 pmI slept very badly last night (dreamt that Rob and I got divorced twice, and something involving corridors) and woke late and evil. I flollopped and snarled and whumpled and sludged and eventually Rob returned from his ill nameserver and brought me tea and helped me stand to go to the bathroom.
There was post. (Mail for North Americans). It was a small we envelope saying "Of no monetary value" and "FRAGILE" and "Please hand cancel" (what does that mean?)
And inside this envelope was Art, for which I am - well, actually, I'm not feeling anything that I can label gratitude, but I am feeling a lot of Very Very Pleased, and Boingy Boing, and Oooooh, Art, Yummy. Thank you, kind benefactor, and I'll see what I can come up with in return, though I don't generally do art.
My fridge is very well-dressed. And the art on my fridge is very well dressed and the story on the art on my fridge needs a writer to tie it down and teach it to swim.
