During the week just passed, I had lunch with liadnan in Reading - showed him the pedestrianised main street, the park, the ruined abbey, and a couple of coffee shops. Oh, and the old Waterstones (it's in an old church; they have tombstones in glass cases).

I also went to a filming of Have I Got News For You, which was marvellous, and stayed over with clanwilliam, and went to meet the horse, and ate a lovely lunch in an unusually pleasant pub, and had altogether a very leisurely morning, since morning lasts until lunchtime. Then we did some shopping (Rob declared, of the jeans we got for me, that they "go around your waist, and have room for your bottom and stop at the end of your legs!" which is, well, true. And unusual in trousers) and then we went and looked at Porchester Spa, where I may go to be made even more beautiful prior to the wedding.

And as if that wasn't enough, we found a place selling Italian hot chocolate, which was more like chocolate custard. Certainly it was very dessert-like, and I will go there again. And again. And again...

I got back to Reading about 8-ish and Rob and I ate out, then went home via Janice's to collect her to watch HIGNFY on TV. They cut out some of the funniest stuff. I'll have to get to more live shows.

Then we went to sleep, and this morning I was almost late for a tutorial, but that's another story.
