Five good things that happened today

1. We did several loads of laundry.
2. We cooked a reasonable dinner using actual leftovers that therefore didn't go green and hairy and develop political opinions.
3. We sorted out a couple of details about the wedding.
4. We returned yesterday's videos (The Truman Show and Mansfield Park) and hired a couple of new ones(Mission to Mars and Riding in Cars with Boys).
5. We spent the whole day together without anyone else. We almost never do this unless one of us is very sick, so it was wonderful.
