The Wedding Planner
Apr. 29th, 2003 03:28 pmToday, she is mostly sitting in cafes waiting for catering managers. Becky asked me to meet her for lunch and I felt fairly steady and not falling-over-ish so I went. We ate a lovely meal at the London Street Brasserie, followed by tea and biscuits at the Three Bs under the Town Hall. Since we were there, I asked if I could meet, or make an appointment to meet, the catering manager, to let them know about 1 lactose intolerant, 1 gluten intolerant, 1 vegan and 10 vegetarians. We also discussed the florist again, and I need to call someone else back about that.
Janice is going to do the photographs and the video, which makes life much easier. And cheaper, actually. She has the skill to produce very professional work, and knows me well enough that the act of pointing a camera at me won't make me scream and go puce. I have even almost finalised a seating plan, since we chased a bunch of RSVPs recently and have very few more to chase. Though we have some invitations yet to send.
It was useful, so many people not wanting to bring "and guest".
