Work, War and Wibbles
Mar. 28th, 2003 06:00 pmThis week I have been back at work, making sure that I do at least one of (a) taking a lunchbreak or (b) leaving work on time. The week has been less stressful than many weeks. Today I did two annual reviews for my staff and had a chat with HR about my stress. They are happy with me ensuring I don't overwork and told me I am to ask for help more.
Also, the Most Difficult Upper Management Person is being assigned to a different project, which I am very pleased about.
This evening we are going to the Reading Peace Group candlelit vigil from 19:00 - 20:00.
My little sister is sticking up for herself ot her employers too, which is nice. One of my older sisters is having trouble at work again, and called me to say that she is coming to the wedding and she isn't going to contact anyone before then because she doesn't have time, but not to worry or think that she isn't calling for any other reason. She's doing a Masters as well as her job, so is really under a lot of pressure.
puritybrown has a new job, in a bookshop, which should be fabulous. I'm really pleased for her.
