I have taken yesterday and today off work sick because I'm so tired I faint a lot. I fall over and my knees buckle while conscious, too. Last night I dreamt about sleeping. I dremt I was too tired to stay awake so I slept - it was a lovely dream. I think I was leaning on Toni's shoulder, Toni who I met once at alt.polycon.

- that's what prompted me to post about it. I often dream about being exhausted (I've been fainting at work for several weeks now) and the only reason I remember the dream at all clearly is because Toni was in it.

I'm taking tomorrow off sick, too. I can't be this tired much longer.

Weeks?! What have you been doing to yourself? I hope the days off help you to feel better.

Nothing wrong with me but overwork; I've been managing a very busy team of 7 people and me and my boss (who takes a lot of managing) in a very high-stress office for a very high-stress customer. I've also been taking an Open University course, learning to drive (which I hate), and planning a wedding (which I enjoy but find stressful). This on top of usual administrivia like remembering to pay bills, order groceries, sort laundry, etc.

I haven't been able to wake up to my alarm clock without having Rob pick me up and hold a drink to my lips for months and months.

Doctor's appointment at 16:55 today.

*smiling* Toni makes a pretty good (and very undemanding) rock to lean against ... and often takes care of me when I am exhausted ... I'd say your dreaming self was very perceptive. I hope leaning against her helped you to rest! I'll tell her about your dream ... hope the doctor can help you and you soon start feeling better again.
