I have mostly been reading IBARW posts when I feel like it; I don't feel up to making a substantive post about it. This is mainly because, as a white person, I don't need to think very hard about it much.

Think about that. (I will).

Hi... I found you while looking for others interested in parenting, and I wanted to let you know that I've subscribed. I'm a single parent of three boys, and your post on what you believe, and, well, teaching your kids that... that sticks with me. It's something I've been trying to focus on more as a parent, as the last few years have been more about day-to-day surviving.
