I have decided that I just have to have a meeting and say something like "Now that we have ironed out the major problems we were having, with communications and so on, and the customer is happier with us, we need to really work on the other aspects of our image with the customer. This means things like being here on time, taking lunch at the right time, always remembering to set an Out of Office message when you take a day off, that kind of thing. I'm sure you've all noticed the drop-off in incoming work; this gives us a chance to stop playing catch-up all the time and get really on top of the workload."

Then I should mention synergy and thinking outside the box.
