I can't do this. I just can't. I keep wanting to shout at my staff - "Grow up for fuck's sake!" Some days, it seems like I am the only person able to solve a simple problem, the only person able to work more than an hour without a break for coffee, cigarette or porn, the only person who doesn't pass the fucking blame around, trying desperately to make the shit stick to anyone's fur but mine.

Why do people send email asking for favours couched in such terms that the interpretation "You have to give me this favour because the mistakes we made were all your fault so you have to fix it" is the only possible one?

Why do people insist that their email is Authoritative and Jocular, and someone else's (using far fewer obscenities) is Offensive?

Why amn't I allowed to requisition a cattle-prod from Supplies?
