Visiting James

I woke late, after about 6 hours' sleep, and we headed off to find James. We got to the station and bought tickets, then found that the train was a replacement bus service. I resigned myself to getting very sick (buses make me sick. Tey didn't used to, but they do now, and it's horrible) and we sat down and set off.

We left an hour later than planned and arrived 3 or 4 hours later than planned. Then we had a quick look at James' house - it's very lovely but somehow unlived-in, which he attributes to the fact that he doesn't live there so much as sleep there and to the tidying up that happened before we arrived.

Then we went to see David and Caroline and their children, which was, um, loud and fast-moving. They started off very shy (the children, not David and Caroline) and ended up prancing around naked and squealing. Uhuh. It failed to make either myself or Rob determined not to breed, which is a shame, I suppose.

Eventually we went back to James' and sat up late while I babbled in a very wired way and drank apple juice and tea and ate James' chocolate.
