It started at the weekend; I had to work late on Friday (Damn these 10-11 hour days) and then came home to revelry and gameplaying, for which I was too tired and too stressed. Then on Saturday we hung around being tired and then went out to look at a house and some shops and things. Then Rob decided that he wanted to go and see The Two Towers and I thought that I could cope, energy-wise, if I gave up going to the ballroom dancing social on Sunday.

At about 11:00 pm, 2 hours into the film, we left because Rob had been sick twice. He was cold and clammy and shaking, and I had to call a friend to come and get us (if the friend hadn't been around, I would have tried for a taxi, which is difficult when you're sick, and failing that, I would have called an ambulance. There was no question of him walking home. Or of me leaving him and going away to find something else).

So we were awake much of the night, rinsing buckets and finding tissues and attempting to get him to swallow some water. Then Sunday was a washout, and by 1 am Sunday/Monday morning, I was curled up in the bathroom crying and being distinctly unwell. The crying was because of the unwellness, you see.

So now I'm out of work again. I have been sick an awful lot, I think.:
