Niamh left today; I met her and Rob and Janice in Reading train station for lunch and then we waved her off on the bus. It was raining. Then I went back to work; after work I felt deflated and a little wretched, so I called Rob and we decided to see whether we could impose on Janice again. We brought Scrabble and cold turkey, and ate and played and then went home to bed.
