Surprisingly, they have failed to meet another deadline.

I wouldn't mind so much, but they are setting their own deadlines. "We will write to you all about the pay situation on Friday," for example. Friday comes and goes, and on Tuesday we get an email saying "Sorry we didn't write to you about the pay situation, we will do it by this Friday."

So yesterday the male interviewer was back in the office and he told each of us that he would tell us tomorrow - ie today - about the Team Leader job.

Around 16:00 I asked our current stand-in team leader whether he had heard anything. Nope. He called the male interviewer several times and got no joy. At 18:00 (30 minutes after quittin' time) we all got sick of it and left.

Myself and Dave went across the road to TGI Friday's for a drink. Ellie came too, until Andy picked her up, but we ended up eating there - Ellie and I started with a cocktail each and Dave had a pint, then Dave left and Ellie, Andy, Mike and Rob and I all ate fooood. Fajitas for me, as usual - I like building the food, even if it doesn't usually taste that great.

I spent vast sums. It's ok though. I quit smoking on 01 December. I will have money to spare this month.
