Monday's good things

1. I woke early enough that I had time for two cups of tea before leaving the house.
2. The teasmade was on my side of the bed so I didn't have to wake Rob.
3. Work went moderately well.
4. I talked to my friend about seeking another job, and my stress levels, and I think I feel better now about not agreeing with her. She's someone I feel like I ought to agree with.
5. We played a great game of Seafarers of Catan with Mike, my dancing partner. We don't often get to play with four, and we also had fun playing with little moving cars and AA Milne books and things.

There's a Gold hex in the Seafarers game, and when its number comes up, settlers get any resource they want. We said to Janice: "You can have anything you want!" and she said "Ooooh, goody, can I ahve a particle accelerator?"

I can't spell that. But it was funny.
