Good things for Wednesday
Sep. 26th, 2002 02:58 pm- We left work early because we had to move desks, which involves packing everything into crates and waiting for a team of Elite Stuff-Movers to move everything less than 100 yards.
- I had a dancing class which went moderately well.
- I ate a real dinner (just before the class, which was dumb, but it was real food, good food, and the fact that it sat on my gut like a lump of wet putty during the foxtrot is irrelevant).
- I started reading a book that Rob has been referring to as his "trash, bubblegum for the brain" read, and find that it's easy reading, yes, but still fairly well written, with interesting plot exposure and character development, and an interesting plot to begin with.
- I caught up on a lot of online stuff, including signing on to AOL Instant Messenger again. Someone messaged me while I was away from my desk, wanting to know how much I smoked on Wednesday: total was 7, because I had a dance class which makes me nervous and gives me two extra Walks At Dusk, which is a thing that makes me want to smoke.
