I is for intelligence, a rare breed of weevil.
J is for Jam, a spreadable sweet,
and K is for Kalms, a valerian treat.
L is for Lemurs and Leopards and Lions
M is for Moon, the Book of Night With, by Diane.
N is for No-one, who does all the dishes
O is for Oscar [1], to whom all best wishes.
P is for Penguins, the wake-me-up mints
Q is for Quebec, and girls who wear chintz.
R is for Robert, the man I will marry,
S is for Stress which is making me harried.
T is for Time, and there's never enough
U is for Unwind, when I'm all out of puff.
V is for Vegetable, so we're back to food.
W is for Wedding, which ought to be good.
X is for Xyxygy, which you can't play in Scrabble,
Y is for Yobs, who make up a Rabble
and Z is for zygote.
