Works sucks
Sep. 10th, 2002 11:23 amWork sucks because...
... people invent things and then tell me I told them the things.
... people renege on promises which I have already passed on to my customers.
... people tell me to "talk to him, he knows all about it!" when I trained the him in question and he knows no more about it than I do; I know, I checked.
... I could be at home with Rob on his birthday.
... people Cc their boss when accusing me of things which are their fault, leaving any response I can make looking defensive (Neat trick, I should do it).
... I have no opportunity to raise grievances in a non-bitchy way while my boss is away, largely because of my poor social skills.

It takes time to learn, and seems stilted at first though; it takes practice to be comfortable with it and some people may find it odd. Probably trying it with Rob first would be fun.
Take care.
