The week behind - what I did

ailbheMonday 22 April: Becky came 'round to help me with my essay. I hate this essay. I'm bad at it. She planned it out for me, but it didn't really help much. It's like beating my head against a granite wall. With spiky bits.
Tuesday 23 April: I didn't go swimming with Becky, and she was too ill to come and help me with my essay again. I did some more writing and getting nowhere.
Wednesday 24 April: Placed truly crap essay in an envelope and sent it to my tutor. Then we went to a funfair with Darrell, after dinner with Darrell and Becky.
Thursday 25 April: I left work early to go and discuss my aptitude test with a career guidance person. It wasn't very helpful - I have a broad range of aptitudes and interests so I can do anything I like, apparently. I knew that; that's why I wanted help with a decision. Never mind.
Friday 26 April: After work, went for drinks with people from work. Then called a friend to suggest going out to eat pies. Then we were sort of descended on by other friends and we all watched a film - possibly Swordfish - and I stayed up far, far later than I'd planned to and slept badly. Ho hum. Bits of the film - the bad geeky bits, and a police chase - were very very funny.
Saturday 27 April: Woke up, saw masses of clutter, and decided to go to IKEA. We dropped past Janice's house en route to the station and she decided to come with us.
Sunday 28 April: Painted IKEA furniture and played D&D for the first time (very munchkin game, but enough of an introduction to make more difficult games possible). We spent an awful lot of time with Darrell and Becky this week.
