Long time no communicate: An update

So, I have been in my new job over three weeks and I'm loving it. It's very close to home - 20 minutes' walk - and very close to the town centre, if I want to go there for lunch. The office is a moderately large open-plan affair, with no kettle. Oh, there's a kitchen area, and a coffee machine, but the tea water it spews isn't boiling and anyway the teabags are nasssssty. I may have to increase my coffee tolerance, as the coffee is at least drinkable.

No, no microwave.

My boss is great. So are my coworkers, most of 'em.
