The job hunt

This morning I got a phonecall asking me to come in for an interview this afternoon. I said I wouldn't have time to iron my suit, they said "Jeans and a tshirt is fine."

So I went to the interview and afterwards the guy I spoke to said "Well, I'm happy, I just have to get in touch with HR." So I said "You think I can do it?" and he said "Without a shadow of a doubt."

I am the greatest!

Lingerie

Later, to celebrate, Becky and I went to register me with an agency I hadn't tried before, and then accidentally went lingerie shopping, where I got a beautiful purple basque and a couple of very good bra pads to wear it with. The basque should actually fit Janice as well, since I need pads, and I can wear it to Slimelight if I ever go again.

Then we had dinner at Sweeney's (yum yum pies, new potatoes and broad beans) and then we all came home. Becky stayed at her place because she was tired, but Rob, Darrell, myself and Janice all went home to my house and played Fluxx, which Darrell has had a copy of all along and not told me, grr boo hiss.

The copy I ordered a while ago still hasn't arrived.
