Well, it was busy, and it's over, so I shall write a little summary.

We invited a few friends 'round to watch a little Babylon 5 - the whole first series, in fact. In a weekend. It was suggested by Ingvar a while ago, and we liked the idea, so it kind of took off.

On Friday we went to see Monsters Inc. which was wonderful and hilarious and really really enjoyable and lots of fun.

On Saturday we started to watch Babylon 5 and Ingvar made us pancakes (I thought of them, and had a person who can cook in the house, so I said to him "Pancakes?" and he said "Sure." This ended with him chained to the cooker for hours and me burning myself very mildly on a hot plate, but oh, they were good pancakes. Bounty ice-cream and chocolate spread are good on a hot pancake.)

I got a phonecall from Waterstones asking me to come in for an interview on Wednesday. That's one interview at 10 am and one at 11 am.

Gideon and Jen came 'round on Saturday evening and dropped off a Sun 20" monitor; Rob plugged the Sparc I got him for Christmas 1999 in and finally confirmed that his Sparc works ok, but his monitor is busted. About berloody time. The space that thing took up when we moved house!

Gideon and Jen played with kittens and talked horses and geeked and watched Babylon 5 as well. They also drank the bottle of Coke we've had in our fridge for a while; we can't conscience throwing it away, and we're not going to drink it . . .

On Sunday we all woke quite late. I had nightmares about being late for my interviews, missing them altogether, or going in naked.

We finished watching the first series shortly after 9 pm. Then Ingvar had to go home, and Rob and I watched 4 episodes from the second series.
