Mustard, Charcoal and Dust

The three cats have now been in the same house for over 12 hours. Mustard has come downstairs to look at the new arrivals twice; once, we opened the glass door between them and he growled and ran away, and once he just looked through the glass door, for quite a long time. We're trying to extend the family as slowly as the slowest member is comfortable with. The two new kittens (8-week-old females) are eating well, using the litter tray appropriately, and incredibly cute. Unlike Mustard, they enjoy sitting on laps and being stroked. Also, they sleep curled up on top of each other, and wash each others' ears.
