More data entry
Jan. 19th, 2002 03:00 pmThe nice thing about data entry for yourself is that you can do it really slowly, alternating fingers as it starts to ache, and not bothering your RSI at all. So we took another shelf of PB SF books and entered them. We're beginning to get a little worried about books with multiple authors, or which can reasonably be categorised in multiple genres. We're thinking about ways to deal with this.
Called my mother to tell her how much we'd done (200 and something). She wasn't impressed. "That's not a fraction of your books though," she said. I pointed out that actually, it was. Maybe a very small fraction, but still a fraction. Feh.

I don't have an RSI to encourage me, though.
