Working through the night

ailbheRob worked all night. He realised it wasn't going to work and he'd need to call on a personal favour to get it fixed, so he went to bed at 5, woke to the alarm at 7, and asked the favour. (You can't ask for favours at 5 am on a Saturday). Then he went back to sleep. I was awake until about 2:30, I think, and woke at 10. So now our circadian rhythms will be out of sync for a day or so, and we won't get the planned DIY done this weekend.
It really bugs me when this happens. We're snuggling down to go to sleep, all drowsy and warm, and then there's the buzz of a mobile phone and suddenly we're awake and stressed. And I take ages to fall asleep when he's not there; wimpy, I know, but there it is.
