Janice's Cat

We're feeding Sasha while Janice is away. Rob had to work in London today, so I toddled around after I finished sleeping and feeling bleary. I brought the last Harry Potter book with me, so that I could stay awhile and give her the benefit of some human company.

I gave her the last of the food, and some fresh water, and then we started on the love and cuddles. That cat is such a - a - I don't know. She nuzzled me and licked me and purred at me and pawed me and rubbed up against my book and my clothes and my feet. She spent well over an hour just being stroked and cuddled and caressed. It's immensely gratifying, having a cat purr all over you.

Rob came by Janice's on his way home from work, stopped in and fed me chocolate, stroked Sasha a bit, and then we went home, ate Indian takeaway, and felt ill and went to bed early.
