Conversations with Linnea: What she's going to be when she grows up.

A builder who builds a big building with a flat roof. A hotel!

Then, a shopkeeper, with a shop which sells all sorts of things. Food, and furniture.

But the most important thing about being grown up - whether you marry someone or not. (Is that the most important thing?) Yes. Because if a grownup don't marry someone, that means, it's going to be lonely unless it has a baby. Yeah. But the thing I want to do, is marry... Louis, when I grow up. I'm right next to the age of Louis.

Mm.

Actually, very few of our friends are both childless and single (no idea on marital status) - some of mine are but the people she knows aren't. I assume she'll outgrow this later.

What it says about her perception of the role of children in their parents lives, now...

Ho hum. On we go.

You can point her at me if she gets to know me a bit better - I'm not likely to have either a marriage or a baby any time in the next few years!
