Washed hands, made hot chocolate, dealt with child biology, washed hands, drank hot chocolate, carried laundry into garden, disposed of rat, washed hands, hung laundry, put on dirty laundry, washed hands, came upstairs to move furniture, cleaned up cat sick, washed hands, used loo, washed hands, moved king-sized bed because solar panel fitters postponed and don't need access to that cupboard. My HANDS.

Oh my GOODNESS that takes me back. I remember when my hands were hardly ever dry for more than 15 minutes at a time.

This is why we buy nitrile gloves in bulk. Hand-washing is still necessary, but the gloves reduce the need to scrub under nails etc.
