I'm so utterly wiped out these days that it's surreal. I thought it was just the physical pain for a while but I have very limited energy even on low-pain days so it's not that. I keep falling asleep mid-evening and failing to wake until mid-morning, and find getting out of the house almost impossible even when my pain levels are under control.
GP appointment on Tuesday next week. Must make a list.

Date: 2014-01-21 12:58 am (UTC)You mentioned that you'd had a TSH test and they'd said it was "normal", but did they happen to tell you what the actual number was? And did they by any chance do a thyroid antibodies test? If you had something like Hashimoto's disorder, then your thyroid would have periods of being hyperactive and periods of being hypoactive, which could correlate with your changes in weight and energy levels.
And did you get your vitamin D tested? And iron? I'm trying to think what else they tested for me, but I'm (ha!) exhausted and in pain right now.
Hope they're able to find something simple and fixable. Also - Tuesday next week? I hope that's because you're waiting for a specific GP who has been helpful in the past, not because you don't believe it's urgent enough to Need Help Now :(
