I think we're getting rid of about 140l of clothes, baby and child mainly but also some of mine -- a jumper I got as a handmedown when I was 14, for example, but thought of as My Best Jumper ever since. We're taking most of the kids' toys away and putting them in a Shopping Box in the attic, and they can swap over what's in their toyboxes more or less whenever they want. I hope that this means some toys will also be given away.

Most of what's in the attic has to go into storage while we have the work done, and a lot of the rest of the stuff from our house will have to, too.

A Shopping Box: utter genius & what I need to implement to remove about 75% of the toys from the living room before N gets mobile. I think I have 2 more months max ...

Thank you for the idea!
