I help my children stay safe and learn at home and in our town. I keep our house clean and safe, and make sure we use money well. Before I had children I helped get power to places to make phones work through the air. Before that I helped computers talk to each other using phone lines. Before that I checked the words in books to make sure they were the right words. Before that I waited on tables. All those gave me more power in the world than looking after children but I was less happy then. And a lot less tired.

I think - of the descriptions I've read so far - that's come the closest to actually sounding like readable English (some of them have been really tortured!)
