To my shame

ailbheShame is the hardest one.
Shame boils over, puts out the fire, and pours cold over my heart.
It hides itself in the dank corners and grows anger like mould under the lintels of my heart.
The only cure for shame is sunlight.
Lay it out in the open.
See the cracks and filth.
Show the wickedness and failures.
Be not ashamed.
Be penitent.
It is not the same.
