Aglet is 27 months and I am looking forward to English acquisition like you wouldn't believe. Although today he counted to five unprompted!

James can count, but doesn't believe in starting from 1, so he goes "4, 5, 6, 7, 6...." But his speech in general isn't yet as good as Astrid's although it is coming along now. This seems to be typical of his contemporaries - the girls all chatter away like magpies, but the boys come out with one, or at most two, words at a time!
