It was fab. I've made lots more art. We've spent eight hours today in the community garden, and we have a little allotment plot which I've almost finished planting in; I have space for a very few more things but need to decide what to try for.

Astrid is toilet training herself (and us, with less success) and Emer is reading more and more. The two older girls had a sleepover down the road last night. Astrid is still having sleep apnea but we're coping. Emer lost a tooth and her adult tooth is nine sizes too big for her mouth. Linnea is all about biographies and Greek myths and geography.

I'm taking a list of my own longstanding health issues to the GP on Monday, because really, I have been very slack about dealing with my own health, and it's silly. So I'm going to go. Astrid has two hospital follow-up appointments this coming week too. I'm hoping to spend some time at MERL (Museum of English Rural Life) to lend some interest to those two days; it's around the corner from the hospital and has a good reputation.

ART. I've submitted two paintings to the art exhibition at the Penta Hotel for Reading Arts Week and am considering having a party here on the Saturday after I've seen them, to celebrate. I've been invited to the launch or opening or whatever, but it will be loud and full of strangers and also involve childcare so I don't want to go.

How can Emer be losing teeth already? Elena just lost her first teeth (and her first adult tooth is also 9 times too big for her mouth), and Emer is still just a baby..... Oh wait, I think that's my problem. :)

Also, I'm glad to hear you're taking care of yourself.
