I get handed the book and "Up, pease!" which basically means he wants to be lifted on to my lap or beside me to be read to. And the other day he was looking at his books, and playing with a "lift the flap" one, and he saw me looking and held up the book and said, very earnestly "Peep-bo!"
I had "LAP!" shouted at me quite forcefully today, when I was sitting on my heels and not making a proper lap-space available, as is my clear and evident duty :)
