ailbheThe place is in foul condition.
Hung out two loads of damp laundry, hoping the musty smell would blow away (it did)
Washed two loads of clothes and hung them out
Brought in the first two loads
Washed a load of towels to hang next
Put a load of nappies on, currently running
Emptied, refilled and ran dishwasher
Washed a LOT by hand
Cleared one kitchen counter
Cleared and cleaned dining table and Astrid's highchair
Got all three children dressed properly
Cleared dining room floor and spot-scrubbed it
Carried carseats and under-bed boxes from front room upstairs out of the way
Did a lot of planning and organising of finances and IKEA shopping lists; Rob will be INCREDIBLY late home tonight because he's going to IKEA on the way back after his late meeting. Urgh.
Cooked lunch and cleared up
Served tea and cake to visitor and cleared up
Nursed Astrid down to sleep
Took delivery of rocking chair from neighbour! hurrah!
Sat down and wrote this (partially while feeding Astrid, who is now snuggled down in bed with the cats).
