Rob is home from work early and a neighbour across the road came in to babysit me while Rob traveled. Because I've come over all collapsey again. The good news is it may not be just me, or just exhaustion - the neighbour who came over says his wife has been ill with very similar symptoms and off work with it for over a week. So I might be genuinely ill, not just feek and weable.

I don't mind so much if it's the kind of illness real people get too.

Also, perhaps I overdid it yesterday, and should have rested instead of doing housework.

You're real! You're one of the realest people I know.

Rest as much as you can.

Everything about my life (including milk production and blood sugar levels during the day) is better if I have a hearty midnight snack when I am downstairs for pumping. Currently I favour peanut M&Ms, dried mango and digestive biscuits. Could you do something similar?

Not sure it's related, but I'm feeling very, very iffy also. If I had 3 children and a mountain of housework to run around doing, instead of an office job and a flat that can be as filthy as it likes, I'd be having "spells" too, I'm sure.

I've been absolutely wiped out since last Saturday for no particular reason. I keep thinking I'm ok and then it comes over me again. Definitely something in the air.

Urgh, poor you - feel better soon. There seem to be a lot of Foul Lurgies around at the mo (I am currently felled by one myself), so being collapsey sounds like you've been germed. Glad to hear Rob is there to take care of you, and that your neighbour was able to step in too.

I nearly fainted last week & am completely exhausted this week, it would be good if it was a virus, as I'd put it down to stress.

Collapsey how - fainting? I was like that earlier this year and managed to mostly fix it by adjusting hedmed time relative to food which just occurred to me as a possible thing to suggest to you too. Medicine before breakfast or between meals = faint after small amount of exercise. Medicine immediately after breakfast = I can paddle 15 miles.

It still hasn't got rid of the bit where pulling off plasters makes me faint though which led to a fun ten minutes lying on the bathroom floor with half an ECG machine still stuck to my torso.

I feel very similarly when I find out I've had a viral infection and not a relapse. It's somehow reassuring to have been 'normally' ill. Although we are real people.

I do hope you get some strength back very soon.
