Books!

I have now read - that is, started, read all the bits in the middle, and finished - TWO books since 6th September. I am once again reading! This is a huge relief to me.

Of course, they were both well-loved Georgette Heyers, but it's a start, isn't it?

I know how you feel. I finally started reading fiction again a month or so ago; though it's been Little House on the Prarie & Anne of Green Gables so far... Maybe next month I'll pick up my knitting again for the first time since June.

We busted your speakers and have had to replace them. How old were they, do you know? Rob's Young Man's Amp was more than they could handle when combined with toddler volume tweaking.

I haven't stopped painting, which is a good thing. But I've stopped writing poetry. Perhaps one day... we're kind of on the wrong side of the equinox for that though.

IIRC, the speakers were ones the previous owner of the house left when he moved out! So no idea how old they might have been... I'd love to start watercolour painting again, but likely won't have time/ooomph until after Christmas.
