ailbheAfter fruitlessly trying to call the mobile number we were given, and bang on the door, shortly after midnight I emailed next door's landlady to complain about the noise. So when I popped out to the shops today with the children I met next door, who wanted to know when I would be without the children so we could talk.
I don't think he believed that I am almost never without the children. But there you go.
We did manage to buy food, at least, and later had two sets of guests, and took delivery of a School Surplus order including huge foam dice and a new balance with brass weights, and after Rob came home I sorted out the art corner of the dining room a bit and it's all ready for tomorrow's IKEA delivery...
But I didn't get the front room sorted out at all, and I suspect I need to install the new storage there first. Ah well.
We ate marvellous dhal, at least. I wonder what we'll eat tomorrow? We have NO FOOD because of being away for two weeks and failing at shopping afterwards.
