I decided my huuuuuuuuuge painting is finished and you can see it here. I also descaled the kitchen sink and draining board and washed the wooden utensils and breadboards etc. I updated the records for the Oxford Road Community Garden so that the website is visible again - not up to date particularly, just visible. I took delivery of and transferred into the ground two rosemary bushes and a weeny bay tree (must water them if it doesn't rain soon). I found tomatoes and peas growing in our garden.

I showered the baby and scrubbed yurk off corners of the dining room floor which haven't been seen for weeks. I emailed the ORCG people to say we can lend them a balloon pump for tomorrow's barbecue (if you're local, do come!) and talked to Linnea about paying for the library book she damaged. I found a section of kitchen countertop. I read to the children. I tidied the rubbish bins and put out tons of recycling and landfill waste which had been cluttering up our house.

Tomorrow I need to go to True Food Co-op Shop, then Battle Library, then at 11:30 the ORCG too help prep for the BBQ, where Rob will meet me with the children who will have finished their swimming lessons. Then we need to figure out how we're going to get the tent erected so we can check it for flaws in case I need to return it again... and then we have to figure out some sort of Quality Time With The Family thing to do, because on Sunday Rob's traveling for business.

I am honestly a bit awed by how much you achieve in a day. I've only got one toddler to deal with and my days usually consist of feed her, feed me, possibly clean one of us, survive until husband gets home. Cleaning the house happens once in a blue moon. I haven't even swept up the dropped crusts and raisins from under her high chair today, since she can't get into the kitchen and do anything awful with them.

Oh! Your tree loaded for me just after I posted my comment. It's lovely.

If I had the money, that painting would be so totally mine.
