Halfway through the week
Jun. 15th, 2011 10:07 pmMonday: Various bits of laundry, out to the shop for the week's groceries, back for the health visitor at 1pm, collapsed a bit, lunch, dinner, arting.
Tuesday: Cleaning, laundry, GP appts for three of the five of us, laundry, lunch, laundry, library, storytime, meeting friends, visitors, laundry, more visitors, dinner, calendar planning.
Wednesday: Almost no laundry, visit from Farmor, Rob home early, me out to visit a friend and her new baby in hospital - I still recognise none of the maternity wing at all, but I no longer get panic attacks there, so that's nice. Very lovely baby - third time I've held a baby under 48 hours old, first time I've changed a newborn boy's nappy, very exciting.
It has been very hectic, and Linnea has found it hard, which means her usual Intense, Introvert traits are exacerbated. I think tomorrow we can get away with much less to do.
Still, we've made both banana muffins and scones without electric mixers, so Emer has seen how it's done. So has Linnea, but she's not as interested in cooking as Emer is.
We've been trying to do Five in a Row but there has been too much on. We'll keep trying, I guess. It would help if we were all awake in the mornings but we seem to wake in shifts.
