We're away three nights, with swimming. So the kids have their clothes and PJs in backpacks and their books and toys in handbags. Rob has his clothes and all the swimming stuff in a baby-backpack for carrying Astrid in. I have a fishing backpack with a chair built in (genius!) for mine and Astrid's clothes and I'm sincerely hoping to fit some painting kit in there too. Rob has a handheld bag of food to bring and we have to manage carseats and a bike, too. The carseats are the worst bit. I wish everywhere had http://childfriendlytaxi.ie/.
