Cloth nappies
Aug. 1st, 2010 03:21 pm9 days old and we went to Meeting, then to lunch at the Picnic Café, then we looked at the new Eclectic Games venue, and finally we bought a nappy stacker in Mothercare and came home on the bus.
I'm tired and have had a few dizzy spells but am basically ok, and it was lovely to get out of the house.
Astrid is in cloth nappies for the first time since birth. It's a little disconcerting - one grows accustomed to being able to smell a wet or dirty nappy very quickly, and cloth doesn't smell anything like as strongly as disposables, even eco-friendly disposables, so she wasn't changed as often as I think she might otherwise have been.
She's about to outgrow the Newborn size. We'll send them on to a smaller baby (good up to 10lb).
