Deep tissue massage. Ow. But it really worked! I need to do a bit of it to myself, too. And lots of hot water bottles to the affected area.
Oh, and the physio was on the postnatal ward/birthing centre ward. Here's some news for you: I should NEVER EVER EVER go there in labour. I didn't have an actual panic attack, but I did lose the ability to see what I was looking at and ended up sitting in the corridor waiting area with my eyes closed and my hands cupped over my mouth, doing my Calm Breathing counting with tears dripping off my chin onto my clothes. Nowhere that makes me feel like that is a good place to be to have a baby.
Still, I have a support belt and crutches, so I should be a lot more mobile than last pregnancy. Had to get a taxi there and back, though, and carseats are just as agonising as they ever were...
