Urgh, bed now

I can't read the whole backlog today.

But I did notice that the National Front are having a protest on the route of Reading's Pride Parade. So I guess the four of us will be there in our rainbow tshirts.

How dare they.

Running late

I've been sitting reading the internet for a half-hour or so. We're still a bit slow after the holiday. But the beds are made, the children are washed and fed and dressed, the laundry is on, I had a shower. I need to sort the dining table out - take the oilcloths off, clean the wood, put the layers of protection back on - and tidy up a bit ("I have to tidy up because Lucy's coming," I said. Emer said "Don't wowwy, I tan tell her a step OVA tings.")

I hope to make bread today and perhaps a banana cake or two, and maybe see about the sewing machine and the ironing board.
