Rob is snoring

We went to see it!
I bought tickets about 7 o'clock last night and Linnea and I headed off shortly after ten this morning, delayed briefly by the total disappearance of my wallet. We got to the cinema, collected the tickets, popped out, got cash at a cash machine, went in again, bought popcorn, and found our seats.
Linnea found the noise of the trailers overwhelming - they are very loud - and I had to go and get the seats and leave our stuff, and go back for her, so that she could keep her hands over her ears. But after the trailers she settled in nicely to watch the film and eat a bucket of popcorn the size of, as I have mentioned before, her own head.

Imaginary Internet Friends

hfnuala at lunchtime but we didn't say when that was so I booked cinema tickets thinking "after 1pm" and that was the end of lunchtime so we had to cancel and then the train wasn't at the originally planned time so we uncancelled. That is, I got a call while I was about to help Linnea try on some garments in H&M and threw her at Rob, grabbed Emer, and sprinted for a meeting point.
We did manage a pleasant coffee (thank you for the coffee!) and Rob and Linnea arrived later and my children ran riot all over the cafe in the usual weekend frenzy. So that was nice.
It's always a bit odd, meeting imaginary internet friends in real life. Obviously they areall real people but it's... odd. It almost always involves phonecalls to make arrangements, too, and I don't like phonecalls to people I don't often speak to on the phone (yes, I know).
Anyway, it was lovely, and I really do need to sort out getting everyone up to a youth hostal in Scotland next year. Must call the YHA and use my railcard discount.
