I am crawling through the day like kraken.

Only without the waking part.

It's 11:22 and all I've done so far is dressed myself and Linnea, given Linnea a shower, washed her bedding, and put the dishwasher on. Um, and done some disorganised food -> mouth stuff for the three of us.

So. So. Tired. What I would do if Rob didn't make coffee I do not know.

I need to wash the dining room rug, later. And we must remember to give Linnea a nappy at night now, she's wet the bed several times this week.

So. Wash dining room rug. Hang two loads of wet laundry, and another one when the bedding is finished (90 minutes a cycle - where can I get an A-rated US-times washing machine?) and prep dinner. Feed the children lunch. Find at least half of at least one side of a kitchen surface. Make at least one loaf of bread.

This evening the plumber cometh to look and quote. Yay. Gods I wish I was asleep.

So possibly this might be the first night this week that Rob and I don't spend most of AWAKE. Sleep begets sleep, as we all know, and an overtired baby doesn't sleep well.

Oh please, please, please let it be true.

(In getting stuff done news: Rug draining in the bathtub, two loads of laundry on the line, one wet in the machine, chicken almost ready to go into the oven, CBeebies Radio really rather splendid, desperately need to tidy the pantry - perhaps that can be the weekend's major DIY project?)

Pompeii

I always find Pompeii upsetting and the bloody Doctor didn't help much.

Still, Donna's turning out well, I feel.
